But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

Luke 18: 16

Trinity Kids provides spiritual guidance, education, & community for children from infancy through 5th grade. For Preschool through 5th grade, the “contemplative model”; of children’s ministry is used to provide the framework for learning about the stories of the Bible, with a focus back to the gospel & salvation of Jesus Christ. Lessons and discussions are hands-on, reflective, and open-ended. Please contact Julia Guy (julia@trinityanglicanmission.org) with any questions or to learn more about Godly Play and the contemplative model.

January Memory Verse

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with
whom there is no variation or shadow

due to change." ~James 1:17

A note from us regarding the monthly Memory Verses:

Parents, Families, and Friends,

Throughout the coming months, we will be working in the Trinity Kids classrooms (from Toddlers through 3rd grade) to focus on powerful scripture with the goal of guided them to integrate the Word of God more readily into their daily lives. It is written beautifully in Psalm 119: 11, “I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” Each month, we will focus on one verse from scripture. We will recite these verses during the given month with the goal of better understanding and memorizing them.

We ask for your partnership in this endeavor. This page provides the years’ worth of focus scripture. Please, hang it on your fridge, cut them apart to use as book marks, put it in your own wallet so that you can recite and discuss them together while waiting in the grocery line… whatever you choose. These scripture will also be visible in the Gathering Room and in each of the Trinity Kids classrooms.

Thank you for your support as we share the love of Christ with the little ones.

All our best,

Julia Guy & Christine Cown
